Katherine Kalin
Advisory Board - Former McKinsey Partner & Pharma Exec
Katherine is a non-executive director on the boards of Athersys, a US biopharma, and Genfit, a French biopharmaceutical company, and a board member of several private companies, including Brown Advisory, an independent investment and strategic advisory firm, Clinical Genomics Technologies, a biotech developing evidence-based diagnostic tools for cancer, and Primari Analytics, an A.I. start up. She also serves as a Board Advisor to Stardog, an innovative developer of a knowledge graph platform that helps enterprises unify, query, search and analyze their data, and is a trustee of two not-for-profit organizations, the Summit Area YMCA and the Summit Foundation, a 501(c)(3) community foundation that fosters local philanthropy.
Katherine has more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive in healthcare and professional services, most recently at Celgene, where she led corporate strategy from 2012-2017, and at Johnson & Johnson, where she held leadership roles in marketing, sales and new business development from 2002-11. Prior to that, Katherine was a partner at McKinsey & Co. from 1990-2002. Her healthcare industry experience spans diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and digital health.
She has a B.A. from Durham University, UK and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
